Since 2002, Arlo has been involved in the successful development of over $2B of energy generation and associated infrastructure in the United States, including wind, solar, and enabling transmission. From 2015-2017 he served as Chief Development Officer of OneEnergy Renewables, a firm that acquired ADVANCE’s solar development portfolio in 2015. At OneEnergy, he was responsible for development across 6 US markets. Prior to founding ADVANCE in 2013, Arlo was President of Power Network New Mexico, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners (GSIP). PNNM’s sole focus was the development of a 200-mile, 345kV collector system in central New Mexico in a 50/50 partnership with the state of New Mexico’s Renewable Energy Transmission Authority (RETA). GSIP sold the company to Clean Line Energy Partners in 2013. Before joining PNNM in 2011, Arlo spent 7 years at EDP Renewables, formerly Horizon Wind Energy, where he most recently led development efforts in the western United States. He has also held positions with Orion Energy and at AES. Prior to working in the energy industry, Arlo managed development of engineering and industrial design projects for IDEO Product Development in Palo Alto, CA.
Arlo received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Logan Winston is a recent MBA graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business. Prior to completing his MBA and joining ADVANCE Energy, Logan was responsible for Commercial and Industrial sales for Distributed Sun, a commercial and community solar power-operator with assets operating in 7 states. Logan has also held positions with OneEnergy Renewables, a utility-scale solar developer based out of Seattle, WA, and with EDP Renewables, where he was responsible for land acquisition for a 400 MW now operating wind project in Illinois.
In addition to his MBA, Logan has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan, a BA from Kenyon College, and has completed GIS coursework at CUNY. Logan was an Americorps volunteer from 1999-2000.
Owen support's ADVANCE Energy's development and client initiatives, including project and logistics management, memo writing, and landowner negotiations. With ADVANCE, Owen provides due diligence oversight throughout the seller/buyer advising processes to support the financial valuations and developer-perspective analyses. Owen also manages ADVANCE's daily administrative operations. Prior to working in the energy industry Owen was a leading sales rep at a high growth tech start-up.
Owen graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.A. in Economics, a B.A. in Environmental Studies, and the RASEI Certificate in Renewable Energy Development.
Peter supports ADVANCE's development and client initiatives, including spacial analytics, data mapping, research, and landowner negotiations. With ADVANCE, Peter is part of the team managing projects through the development pipeline, from project inception through execution and renewable energy generation. Prior to working in the energy industry, Peter worked as a development associate for multiple non-profit organizations and as a production assistant at Viacom Media Networks.
Peter holds a BS in Business Administration from the Bucknell University Freeman College of Management, with a major in Managing for Sustainability.
